for the local node, which can be changed based on
combined effect of the following variables:
srpMACIpsMgmtRequestedMode,
srpMACIpsAutoDetectMode,
srpMACIpsRemoteMode, and
srpMACIpsRemoteType
according to the set of rules describing IPS protocol.
