If this object is configured with 'system', ptp derived time (in UTC timescale) is used for all the system applications that need time, including the timestamps needed for OAM tools. If configured with 'oam', the system will use the PTP derived time (in UTC timescale) for only the timestamps needed by OAM. By default NTP derived time is used for all system applications. If NTP is not configured, then the system RTC is used for obtaining timestmaps in UTC timescale for all system applications
