This object determines whether the bridge
considers the number of hops needed to forward
a packet to the root bridge when it selects
a root port. If hopReduce is selected, the
bridge increases its root path cost by 1. If
noHopReduce is selected and two ports have the
same root path cost, the port that offers the least
number of hops might not be chosen as the root port.
