This textual convention defines the type of a wireless interface. The semantics are as follows: dot11bg - This value indicates that the radio interface follows 802.11b or 802.11g standard. dot11a - This value indicates that the radio interface follows 802.11a standard. uwb - This value indicates that this is a Ultra Wideband Interface.
