The Signalling Link Selector is a numeric value that contains the MTP3 packets to allow load balancing of traffic across a link within a linkset or combined linkset. Each linkset provides one or more tables used to map Signalling Link Selectors to Signalling Link Codes. The number of Signalling Link Selectors is 16 for ITU and 256 for ANSI.
