The link types. 'other' : This link is of some type not listed below. 'serial' : This link is a serial link transporting SS7 traffic. 'sctpIp' : This a SCTP/IP link transporting SS7 traffic. 'hsl' : This link is a high speed link using the ATM protocol for transporting SS7 traffic. 'virtual': This link is virtual link used to connect to instance of signalling point running on the same physical device. The link will be used to send and manage traffic between two signalling acting as a gateway.
