This indicates the direction/cause of the ERM notifications. There are two ERM notification directions defined in the ERM: 1. Up Notification The 'up' notification would be triggered by a resource owner when utilization of the corresponding resource exceeds an applied rising threshold value for the resource owner. The 'up' notification indicates that utilization for a resource owner has gone above an applied rising threshold. 2. Down Notification The 'down' notification would be triggered by a resource owner when resource utilization of the resource owner falls below (after exceeding an applied rising threshold value) any applied falling threshold value for the resource owner. The 'down' notification indicates that utilization for a resource owner has come down to normal state after exceeding an applied rising threshold.
