The type of the DMS inventory element. DMS supports the following inventory element types among other types: 'other': other type not represented by any other enum value 'encoder': device capable of encoding video media to be streamed to DMS endpoints 'videoPortal': endpoint that delivers video to desktops 'mediaPlayer': endpoint that delivers video to large LCDs 'transCoder': device capable of transcoding video from one format to another 'storageServer': device capable of storing media 'streamingServer': device capable of serving media as a stream 'dmm': DMS administrative node
