The peripheral type textual convention indicates the type of peripheral device that the enterprise contact center application functional component or subcomponent is associated. The peripheral is typically a private branch exchange (PBX), automatic call distributor (ACD) or a voice response unit (VRU). 'aspect': Aspect Communications CallCenter ACD; interface via Application Bridge (AB) or Computer Media Integration (CMI) and Real-Time Bridge (RTB). 'meridian': Nortel Meridian 1; interface via MeridianLink SCCS with MLS. 'dms100': Nortel DMS-100, DMS-500/SL-100; interface via CompuCall. 'g2': AT&T G2 ACD with 3B2 CMS.
