IP Multimedia Subsystem(IMS) has been introduced in 3GPP release 5 for the provision of multimedia services. GGSN terminates the GPRS bearer to carry IMS signaling and traffic. It communicates with Policy Decision Function(PDF) over the Go interface and acts as a Policy Enforcement Point(PEP) to enforce QoS per media flows using COPS protocol. This table represents various parameters required to support IMS. This table is deprecated as IMS is not supported from GGSN 5.0 release onwards.
