Getting this variable will return the type of outlet group. If present in the system, the main outlet group is 'unswitched' and must be on in order for any of the switched outlet groups to be on. Conversely, if the main outlet group is off, all the switched outlet groups must also be off. Therefore, any commands made to the main outlet group that turn it off will also be applied to all switched outlet groups that are on, unless the state of a switched outlet group prevents it, in which case the command will fail.
